We love silk dresses and very few brands can afford to make their pieces in silk, and definitely not in the quality of the luxurious silk used before the 2000's. This late 1970's green silk dress is in a tonal dot print. We love the unique asymmetrical overlapping fabric layered across the shoulders that create the sleeves and bodice.

Vintage dresses like these are so easy to accessorize and we love the matching sash belt that cinches the waist.  Though we love this dress as it is, you can always have vintage pieces altered to fit or shortened, etc. and it is surprisingly affordable to do so! We always encourage our customers to make their garments their own by having them altered to fit perfectly!

This dress can be worn during the day to a special lunch or special event, like a wedding, or it can be accessorized to wear out for a less formal evening. You can't find the quality of silk like this very easily anymore and this dress is still as vibrant and fresh as it was when it was made!
